Mary Frances Schott of Olex, Gilliam County, Oregon, died at her old home near Olex, October 30.
She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Mobley, and was born in Missouri in 1847. She crossed the plains with the family in 1865.
After her marriage to the late Conrad Schott, they settled on Rock Creek, near Olex.
Surviving children are Mrs. T.G. Johnson, George, Ed and Con Schott of Condon; Mrs. Howard Toby, The Dalles, and Mrs. Pearl Farward of Olex; also numerous grandchildren.
