Eunice Maxine Mocabee Conn
MANSFIELD, OH: Mrs. Eunice Maxine Mocabee Conn, age 77, of Mansfield, Ohio, formerly of Olive Hill, Kentucky passed Wednesday afternoon, September 21, 2011, at the Winchester Terrace Nursing Home in Mansfield, Ohio.
She was born March 20, 1934, in Carter County, Ky., a daughter of the late Mack Sam and Beatrice Trumbo Mocabee.
Maxine was a member of the Dean Road Freewill Baptist Church in Mansfield. She was also a member of the Soldier Church of God while she and her husband lived on Mocabee Creek.
She was a retired employee of the Mansfield City Schools where she worked as a cook and cashier in the cafeteria.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Donald Ewing Conn; one daughter, Donna Anton; and four brothers, Joe Mocabee, William Dee Mocabee, Charles Jack Mocabee, and Windell Jeff Mocabee.
Maxine is survived by three daughters and four sons-in-law, Karen and David Wyatt of Akron, Ohio, Pamela and Paul Parsons of Lucas, Ohio, Hope and Shannon Bradshaw of Mansfield, Ohio, and Duane Anton of Hartselle, Alabama; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and two brothers, Mack Mocabee, Jr. and John Mocabee, both of Olive Hill, Ky.;she also leaves several nieces, nephews, other family members, church family, and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Ky., with Brother Clifford Earl Tackett officiating.
Burial will follow in the Manning Chapel Cemetery in Olive Hill, Ky.
