We are looking for any information on Frederich Moebius and (possible) wife Christiana. His children were: Herman, Max Louis, and Alwine (Alvina). Herman was married to Ida Ernst. Alwina was married to unknown Scharf and later to Ehme M. Saathoff.<br>These people are kin to us, but we are uncertain of the link. We believe there is a "Theresa" link to this line, but have not yet confirmed information about her. Our interest lies in the Moebius connection, not in the children of this marriage.

My grandfather's name was Otto Moebus - but there was some confusion as to whether it was later spelled Moebius because of the umlaut that's usually over the oe. He had a brother named Kurt, and hailed from Bremen, Germany, though I am not sure where he was born. You might try the Ellis Island database (online). There is also an Otto Moebius listed.
