I am looking for parents of Robert A. Moffett who was born in Frederick Co Virginia in 1805. The only Moffett I can find is a John Moffett on the 1810 "head of household" census located in Frederick Co, and from Frederick Co Va wills/lands data base there is a John Moffett who had an account from 1801-1808. There is a John Moffett surveyor and a John Moffitt who had land. But I have no real connection that is sound. My Robert married Jane Johnston (moved to Belmont Ohio) and later died in Wetzel West Virginia.
