I am searching for any information regarding my Great Great Grandfather William Cicero Mohon b. 5-30-1854. From various letters, and other information recently discovered, I have learned that William Cicero had a sister named Molly who married a Rhoades and then moved to Oregon. He also had a brother who was nicknamed Dutch.
William Cicero married Mary Sabrina Wells b. 10-15-1858. They married 3-27-1877. Their children were William Wiley b. 12-5-1877, Johnny Nepoleon b. 9-18-1880, IB 9-4-1882, George C. b. 8-27-1884 nicknamed Poe (he drowned in the Red River at age 21, Effie Samantha b. 3-5-1888 (she married a Thomas), Alice Maude b. 6-12-1890 (my great grandmother), WT b. 4-12-1903. There was another daughter named Josie no more information available other than she married a Bondorant (not sure on spelling).
In 1897 the family packed up a wagon and left from Centre, Alabama arriving 27 days later outside of Laurel, Mississippi during Christmas week. They then worked their way down to the area known as Tilton in Lawrence County Mississippi
