Hi! I am so just starting the ancestry/genealogy thing and am very scattered in my research. I thought I read somewhere that the Molina name didn't appear in Mexico until after the Spanish explorers arrived. Does anyone have any information regarding the origins of the name? Just wondering if it could be traced back to Spanish roots, many people thought my grandfather and his mother were Spanish descendents as opposed to Mexican. Apparently his mother had blue eyes.
