I was in Montreal on April 7 2009 at an exhibit on the Titanic.
Harry Markland Molson was not a survivor. There was a write up about him and his family displayed there. I took interest, because my mother was a Molson.
What I wrote down about it was :
Harry Markland Molson age 55, his great grandfather was John Molson, he came from a family whose fortune came from shipping on the St Lawrence as well as beer.
I hope this helps.
Dear Mr. Molson,

I am sorry that I have no information for you, but I am trying very hard to find some Molson's myself and I was wondering if you could help me. I am trying to help a lady born in 1941, Shirley Pauline Molson, find her birth heritage. She was adopted along with her twin, Sharla, on March 10 of that year in Kansas City, Missouri. I have had no luck with the Molson's in Pennsylvania, and she has had a very hard time dealing with her lost heritage. Her twin died at the age of 9. Does any of this ring a bell? Or, maybe, you may have a direction you can point me in? At any rate, I hope you find the info you are looking for.

I hope you will reply either way.

Wendy Marking

I am looking for information concerning my Father, Charles Daniel Molson, ( Bud, Buddy) Born 1900 in the Cinicinnati area. He had an older sister Jean, who at one time lived in Detroit. He lost contact with them after the second world war. He served in the Marine Corp during the first world war, in Haiti, ended up in Oakland California where he was a musician ,Banjo ,on the local radio and met my mother and moved back with here to Ohio where he became a fireman in Akron ,Ohio .He was in the Navy in the second war .. Died in 1951 My sister and I have been unable to find any record of his birth. He was very taciturn about his childhood and we know only his fathers name, Daniel. He made several trips alone to Canada during the 40’s but what he was looking for, we never knew. If any of this rings a bell let me know, rmolson@neo.rr.com
