Sounds like we maybe related... My Grandmother's father was Christian Momberger (b 12/8/1849) was listed as a Tailor and immigrated here in 1865. He was born in Weidhuasen, Coburg Germany, I have his baptisimal certificate in German from the Lutheren Church. Married Christina Koch in 1876 in Cincinnati Oh. Had two children with Christina, Lydia (b 1878) and my Grandmother Marie (Mammie)b 8/23/1880. He later married Johanna Weisleader and had a son, Oscar (b 4/26/1895). Johanna's mother was Eva Weisleader. Great Grandfather used initials of CC also? I am going to make another trip to Buffalo NY the end of July to do more research and then out to Salt Lake City.. I think Christian passed away in Buffalo and am going to get the death certificate, if possible and find the cemetery where he is buried..
