Monahan of Indiana

My Mona(g)han lineage comes from Indaina aand my earliest ancestor that I ahve traced is Stephen found in the Monroe Co. 1850 census, He lived in Monroe Co. until he died in 1896. He had a numbr of children including my great grandmother Elizabeth. She was nnot married when she had my grandfather Waldo Monagahan the last information I had on her was she was living in Madison IN in 1916. By 1860 there were a number of Monahans in Bloomington, Patrick Thomas who appear to be relatives of my g-g grandfather. There also some Monahan women who married Mullens, Murphys Burns in the 1850s 60s. It appears that some of them moved to the Indainapolis area by 1870. I do know that Patrick entered via New Orleans in 1851 and had left from Galway, but that is the most I know about the connection to Ireland. If any one out there is a relative plaese contact me or if anyone has come across this side of the Mona(g)han family I woud appreciate any information you have. I use the "G" because some of the records I have use it others don't. I will be glad to share any I have or come across that may pertain to you. Hope to hear from you John
