I have information from a bible on Henry Montandon b 1799 Switzerland d 1872 and family. First wife Eliza Person, New Jersey; second wife Martha Jackson Stone, Quincy Ill. Children: Oliver; William Henry; Mary Ann; James Edgar; Charles Julian; Augustus Louis. Birth and death dates. Lived in Elizabettown NJ; Quincy Ill; Denmark, Iowa.

Pat, i have not found a leon montandon in my info. it doesnt mean he isnt related...could be a distant cousin. sorry it took me so long to get back to here but i havent been oninternet for long time.

I just noticed the messages concerning the English version of "Les Montandon". My mom was a Montandon and her grandfather was from LeBrevine,Neuchatel, Switzerland. I have the French version but would be very interested in puchasing the English translation. Thanks.

I read your post of March 2, 2004, saying you have lots of information on the Montandon's. I am looking for any info on Leon Montandon, he died at Iowa Falls, Iowa and is buried in Alden Iowa. I know he came from Switzerland with his family.

If anyone wants my MONTANDON info...i would love to share..i have my MONTANDONs done clear back to the mid. 1700's so i will give what i have or would love to get more info...my farthest back MONTANDON is...JONAS FRANCOIS MONTANDON christianed...30 aug. 1722 in.Couvet,Switzerland..m.16 dec.,1747 to..SUSIANNE MARIE DELACHAUX. they had 10 children...MARIE JUDITH,FANCOIS FERDINAND,JONAS FRANCOIS,DAVID FRANCOIS,ROSE MARIE,MARIE CHARLOTTE,HONORE JUDITH MARIE,SUSANNE MARIE,CHARLES FREDRICHE, and MARIANNE.....i have birthdates on most of these children....i have my direct line clear up until me....so i will share what i have......email me at........turnnburn882001@aol.com...thanks,Sammi

I have a Susanne Marie Montandon...i dont have a birthdate but according to the birthdate i have of her sister she would have had to be born between 1762-1766...do you think this could b the same susanne marie? i have her siblings and parents..u can email me if you would like...

Louis Alfred Montandon isn't a part of my direct line, however I have an English version of the book "Les Montandon 1310-1919" written by Frederick-Jules Montandon, Published in Geneva in 1913. The book was originally written in French but was translated into English by Ken Montandon.
I would be more than happy to look up your lineage.

We have Fredric Louis Perrenoud's Swiss line back to the late 1600's if you don't already know it. Also quite a lot of Montandons from the canton of Neuchâtel.
