My great grandmother was a Montes de Oca, her father was Juan Montes de Oca. We believe from Spain, the Minorca Islands,and then from Havanna Cuba, came to this country. Still doing research when I have the time, so let's keep in touch. I'll share as I get more info and you do the same. They are very interesting to study. Believe several of them settled in St Augustine, FL. Bonnie
