Linda,
Isaac Montgomery b.3-26-1800 or 1810, in Pa.
(In census records he gives his age as being born in 1810. In an interview with a reporter
for the Clyde Republican Newspaper, Clyde, Ks
he states he was born in 1800, and is the date on his headstone.)
d.3-21-1905 Clyde, Kansas
Married-Susanah A. Strayer-1832, in Johnstown
Pennsylvania. They had 9 children. Moved to
Fulton Co., Ill. (Deerfield Twnp) between 1850 and 1855. After his wife died in 1872,
he moved to Clyde, Ks. (Abt. 1880)
He had 7 brothers and 3 sisters. His father was supposed to have been born on the Isle of
Mann and came to the U.S. in 1775, fought in
the Revolutionary War in George Washington's
unit. Can't verify any of this because I don't know his parents names or any siblings
names.
His Children;
Adam b.1834 Pa.
Richard b.1836 Pa.
Susanah b.4-4-1839 Pa.
Silas b.1840 Pa.
Aaron George b.3-13-1844 (my GGrandfather)
William b.1846 Pa.

If any of this fits your line, please let me
know. I have more info on children and Isaac
I will send you if interested.
