According to the book "The Milo Story" Vol 2 , by Lloyd Treworgy c. 1988 by Town of Milo.

"William B. Hobbs trafficked quite a bit in real estate. One early transaction, in 1870, gave his status as "unmarried." By 1881, he had married Miss Mary Mooers , who was born in Dexter, in 1842. Her father was Dr. Daniel Mooers."

Now Wm. B. had been married to sister of Mary Flora - Susan Ellen who d. 1 June 1869, with 2 children. By 1870 census the name was showing up as "MORES" -

Wm. B. Hobbs, July 03, 1843 - Mar. 4, 1926.
Mary MORES , his wife , Oct. 9. 1843 - Jan. 16, 1921.
Nellie S., wife of Wm. B. Hobbs , dau. of Daniel Cynthia L. Mores , d. June 1, 1869 , age 29yrs. 6mos.

I have other children for Daniel Mooers / MORES , but can not find out anything more about him wife Cynthia L. (?).
