What is Polly's maiden name?

2. (1809 VA - after 1880 OH) - son of #1, married Jane
Vaughan. Does anyone have the spouses of all their
children?

3. (1794 VA - 1856 TN) - Married Sarah Jones...the stories of
their divorce and his drinking are abundant on the net. Did
he ever have a connection to MD or NC?

4. (1824 TN - 1864) - son of #3. Who was his wife?

5. This one is shown in Fairfield SC in 1800 but the Census
image is not avail and I know nothing more about him. Do
any of you?

6. (1829 VA - 1910 MO) - son of Thomas Moore and Huldah
Carrico. Married first Elizabeth Spencer and 2nd Mary
Mathis. Does anyone have his aunts and uncles?

7. (1863 OH - ?) - Grandson of #2, son of Asbury Albert Moore
and Catherine Dowling Hill. Who did he marry? did he
have children? Who did his siblings marry?

8. (1875 - 1876) - son of John Moore (son of Abram and Mae Moore) and Susan C. Moore (daughter of #2). Anyone else working this family (that I have not spoken to recently)?

9. (1820 VA - ?) - this Nimrod appears in the 1850 Census in
Perry County Ohio with wife Mary and children. Does any-
one know who this family is? Who are this Nimrod's
parents?

10. (1833 VA - ?) - son of Deborah Moore and Martha
Hampton. Had no children?

11. (1829 WV - 1913) - son of Michael Moore and Elizabeth
Shanes. Does anyone know more about him?

I have Nimrod Jackson Moore I have his parents as Michael and Elizibeth Shanes, this may not be the true parents. the middle name Jackson is not repeted in any of the Moores that I have, there for I question the posability that his parents were some one else. His obit dose not name his parents. Michaels wife Elizabeth died and he marraied a Shine, the second chald of Michael and Elizabeth is listed as a male and no information was avaliable to that resercher. do you have a conection with the Jacksons and Moores. My Nimrod was born June 1831 died July 1913, Any help would be appreiciated Don Moore

I do not have a connection to this Nimrod but I am trying to document all Nimrods so when I run into info I can quickly confirm who is who.

My info on Nimrod Jackson Moore came from Grace-Marie Moore Hackwell at http://members.aol.com/Shortyhack/Biography.html

Her info matches yours except that she shows him born in 1829 near Mooresville, WV.

Do you have a copy or transcript of his obit that you would share?

My Nimrod Moore was born 1776 in Dorchester MD, lived in Rockingham NC between about 1779-1804 then in Grayson VA where he died in 1860.

Margaret "Peggy" md. Fountain Roberts 30 Oct 1823.

Mary "Polly" md. Thomas Phillips 4 Sept 1834 They were my husband's ancestors.

Elizabeth md. Daniel Atkins 10 June 1824 and is buried at Atkins Methodist Church, Grayson Co. VA. She died from smallpox and is also one of my husband's ancestors.

I have Nimrod Moore in my records. He married Jane Vaughan. They had a son Wesley Moore that marr. Achiah Dowling. My mother was a Dowling so I have a lot of info on this line if you are interested.
