Just wanted to add the new information I have on my Moores in West Virginia. I'm seeking information on the family of Nathaniel "Nathan" MOORE and Jenny "Flora" LIPSCOMB of Doddridge and Harrison counties, West Virgina. Nathaniel's parents were Malery/ Malory MOORE and Susan KINNEY. They lived in Doddridge County, WV by 1870. Malery apparently served in a West Virginia unit during the Civil War. Nathaniel and Jenny's eldest daughter, Edna MOORE married Hiram Vernon ROSS, a son of William Frank ROSS and Martha A. MOYERS. These Moores and ROSS' lived on Halls Run and Racoon Run in Harrison County from 1880 until at least 1930's. Nathaniel and Jenny MOORE had many children other than Edna. Please contact me if you have information on these families.
