James Carl Moore, 66, of Rt. 2 Snohomish, died at a local hospital Wednesday morning following a brief illness. Mr. Moore was born in Dexter, Kansas, March 19, 1898, and moved to Washington in 1905. He had lived in Everett and vicinity since that time and for the past six months had resided at his present address. Mr. Moore operated the Drift-Inn Tavern. He was a member of Snohomish Aerie No. 195, FOE of Snohomish and the Carpenters Union. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Ila Moore of Rt. 2 Snohomish; a daughter, Mrs. Delores DeMonbrun of 17616 Maple Lane, Monroe; two sons, Glen E. Moore of Seattle and Wesley Moore of Eugene, Oregon; a sister, Mrs. Verna Kinnee of Salem, Oregon, and nine grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced from the funeral home of Purdy and Walters.

Moore, 66, of Rt. 2, Snohomish, who died in a local hospital Wednesday following a grief illness will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home of Purdy and Walters. The Rev. Glen L. Chandler of Deaconness Children's Home and Snohomish Aerie No. 195, FOE will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are to be Charles Simon, Nels Nelson, John Jones, Richard Ross, Joe Knoll and Oscar Knutson. Active pallbearers are to be Wayne Kinnee, Aldon Kinnee, Leo Moore, Arnold Moore, Marvin Moore and Leland Moore. Should friends desire, memorials may be sent to the Washington Heart Fund or send flowers.
