I was very interested to see your message. Have you read the book called "Sespe Gunsmoke" by Charles F. Outland published in 1991? It contains the story of the More murder in Ventura County, California - a case famous nationwide involving friction between ranchers (the More brothers) and squatters (the murderers). The book contains the tree for Lawrence More from Perth, Scotland (b. 1772, d. 1860). His son Peter Alexander (1797-1859) was the father of Thomas Wallace More (1826-1877) who was the murdered fellow, poor chap. TW's daughter Mattie married Charles Storke and the tower on the campus at UC Santa Barbara is called Storke Tower. One of the exits off the freeway in Goleta is called Storke Road and is the best exit for the campus when driving from the north on Highway 101 - but I am sure you know all this.
In the unlikely event this is news to you, do get in touch.
Sincerely,
Henry More
