Morisette ancestry

Robert, My name is Joe Woods, I was born Clifford J. Morisette @ Castle AFB in CA. My father was Arlie Edmund Morisette born in Bismark,ND and his father was Edmund Henry Morisette, born in Little Falls,Minn and his father was Hector Morisette from Quebec and Edmund Morisettes mother was Nora Grevell from Massechusettes. I've been told that Hector changed the spelling of the Morisette name from Morrissette to Morisette when he came to the States. I'm just now trying to trace our geneology on both sides of my family because my mom just recently died and there are very few left to tell the lineage. If you think there may be some connection to our families, any info would be great. Thanks, Joe Woods (my name changed to Woods thru marriage, my mom remarried after my father died)
