Just a passing note of intrest. My last name from birth is Morisette. My father Lawrence Franis Morisette Grew up in Quebec so did my grand mother Regina Trusion (im sure I missspeled that) I Know that I have lots of relitives on both sides ofthe boarder. My father died about 20 years ago in his late 60s and my grand mother died @the age of 97 in portland orgeaon usa "just my 2cents worth"

He came down from Qubec Canada, sometime before then. He married Marie Doyea In MN. His father's name was Arthur. I keep runing into dead ends. I'm trying to trace Morrissette (various spellings) in Waterville and Augusta. Info I have is below. Found ?? 'O. Sebine'?? widow in 1900 census (Waterville, Kennebec Co., ME, Ward 7, Supvr Dist 109, Enum Dist 134, Pg 25B: Age 40, Widow, No Occupation Given), but couldn't make out her first name, so I can't trace her back to 1881 census in Canada. Also, Joseph Morrissette's wife Rose, would like to know her last name. Hope someone can help.

I got these names from a search done by the canadian web site a couple years ago, but could get no further information.

I am searching for information on my Greatgandfather George Leon Morisette I. He lived in Baie Comeau. Quebec until he came to the USA sometime before 1890. He became a citizen of the USA sometime in 1890. He married Mary Orville Gleason in Crawford County Wisconsin. They had 8 children, Victor Lafayette, George Leon, Harold Erwin, Clara Pearl, Mayo Grace, Florence, Geneva Grace and Polly. Victor is my grandfather and he married Rosalia Ruth Bille in 1905.

I have some information but I am interested in finding out more about my ggrandfather. My Uncle said that he probably came from France and there is probably some connection with Lafayette, but all that is just family rumors.

If anyone could help me to find out more about my ggrandfather, it would be appreciated.

My father was Arlie Edmund Morisette born in Bismark,ND and his father was Edmund Henry Morisette, born in Little Falls,Minn and his father was Hector Morisette from Quebec and Edmund Morisettes mother was Nora Grevell from Massechusettes. I've been told that Hector changed the spelling of the Morisette name from Morrissette to Morisette when he came to the States. CrevierI am looking for information of Marcel_louis-Marie-Alexandre Bonneau immigration into Quebec from France abt. 1919 or 1918. He married Germaine seers in May of 1919.
It would be a big help if I could locate his immigration papres as it would have his birth year on it. We are haveing a great deal of trouble with France in giving us any documents. They said they would two months ago. We could use some help here and if anyone knows what to do next please tell us! My husband is in line for aninheritance from his Grandfather Marcel from an estate left to him by his half brother Jacques in France. My name is Sherry Bonneau and I amtrying to locateinformation on my Husband's Great Grandfather Louis Bonneau. His son Marcel-louis-Marie-Alexandre Bonneau immigrated to Quebec in 1919 or 1918 from France possibly the Nantes Region.
He is in line for a inheritance and the business handling it said he would send Ross his ancestry as he had it in the file. But months later still nothing.
So my question is do any of your Bonneau's come from France the Nantes or St. Naizaire area? Louis Marcel's parents) married Jeanne Lecary and we know nothing of them except that Louis Father is possibly Jacques Bonneau.
