About Morrison, Martha
From it came Col. John Morrison, for many years a prominent and respected figure in the county government. He was for years the Clerk of the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions, and an extensive land-owner. His grave, along with many of his kin, is in the Old Scotch Graveyard on the Widow Bethune`s Hill." ".....she is believed to be buried in an unmarked slave graveyard thought to be located off to the lower northwest side of the Old Scots Graveyard....."
