I received his Philippine Campaign Medal from a dealer from Iowa so I would have to assume that he was from there. I did find a John W. Morrical who died in 1932 in Iowa who fits but I don;t have any proof that he is the same man. I was hoping to find a geanologist that kew if he served in teh Army around the turn of the century

I'm attepting to research a SGT., J. W. Morrical who was a SGT in Co. F, 6th US INfantry in 1908. I have reasons to belive that he was from or settled in Iowa after his tour in the Army. He saw a combat tour in the philippines sometime before 1908. Does this fit anybody in your family?

Brandon Wiegand

I have found records of my daughter’s G G G GM, can't access

I have found birth records of my daughter’s G G G GM Martha Jane Morrical b. abt 1857 (in Indiana) and marriage to husband, George W. Geller b. abt 1841 (in Ohio). I cannot access them, but my understanding is that Green, Randolph, Indiana is the place to find these records. My hope is that they will provide a lead to the names of Martha’s parents from Virginia and George’s parents from Ohio. The marriage records are in Trees & Communities of “OneWorld” and Martha’s birth record is in the 1860 U.S.Federal Census. Can anyone help?

Lawrence Anderson
Rönninge, SWEDEN
Her father is Albert Morrical, she had a sister Mary Alberta Morrical. Their mother was Meldoria Waymire(Morrical). They lived around Anderson, IN. Delaware county. The Indian is on my fathers side, John H. Moyer. If you have information for me please get in touch with me at my E-Mail.

Montpelier, Jay county,Indiana MORRICALs

 Please,
Phil Morrical in the Cleveland,Ohio area; or Joan(Morrical)Livingston in Virginia : Tell me about OIL CITY , aka HELL, and SALAMONIA / ERIE CANAL (1790-1913) Morricals.

The same town and river interconnected via the St. Joseph river in northern Indiana ,southward through Metamora,Indiana area, and into the Ohio river.

And, the "Salamonia River" Passed through Montpelier and Portland, Indiana.

The river was the transport route for the INDIANA Morricals.
Along the way was Lee County, Kentucky.

And from the Montpeiler area the Morricals split to the north, and to the south.

The River bankrupted the Indiana State Treasury (1840's).And this has not reoccured since.

The river was disconnected partially, and redirected through Portland, Indiana towards the west and the Wabash river.

The river was completely diconnected from the north ,and now is an unnavigateable stream, originating from Dark county,Ohio.

And by 1905 the OIL wells there had dryed-up.
And the infamous town ,with 13 brothels and surgeons and a 600 seat opera house. Along with 6 major industries , including Standard Oil, and Marathon and numerous banks and saloons WENT BUST! The largest town (5000 population)
of the county, predating the Portland, Indiana Morricals.

As I digress,

Nellie Bell Morrical (1875-1964) was the southern split's representative in Millersville,Illinois. She was married to a fine man named Charles Warren Dutton . The Morricals of the period followed OIL and are mostly buried in a HILLCREST cemetary in now defunct Red Key and Power station, Indiana. (Jay county, Indiana)

Nellie Bell Morrical was sister to Mary Ellen Morrical Pegg Greene.
Her brothers were Roy, Arthur, Dempsey.

Her son was my grandfather, Charles Nelson Morrical (1913-1978).

And he , I believe, was Guy Morrical's son:

Morrical Squared!

Thus , I am somewhat of a double helix mutagensis!
