Can you tell me more about William Morrisette? I'm investigating to see if he is the father of my ggg grandmother, Kesiah Morriset who married Samuel Isaac Williams 10 Jun 1830 in Marion Co, IL. There was a William Morriset in the 1830 census for Marion County, IL that could have been her father but it appears he returned to Dickson Co, TN in time for 1840 census. He's also in Dickson Co, TN in the 1820 census. I estimate he was born between 1770-1780 by the census data. There were no other Morriset/Morrisette families in the area of IL in the 1830s that I could find.
