We must be cousins somehow. I am also a direct descendant of the first Virginia Huguenot, Pierre Moriset (Morrisett). I have some fairly extensive family history my mother unearthed several years ago. My great-great grandmother was Helena Morrisett, daughter of William. Lots of info available through the geneology section of Va. State Library, as well as the Chesterfield County Library. There is also a Huguenot Society website. Manakin Episcopal Church, in Chesterfield, was founded by Huguenots (Pierre included) in 1700, and their website is www.manakin.org. It contains a link to Hug. Soc. website.
