Hi,
I am replying to this , because it may be some help to someone out there.
Somewhere done the line,the Morrisett name is spelled Marrisett. There are several of us in east Tennessee.
I'm not sure why the spelling changed,just some rumors
about "bad depts' and several did'nt want to be found.
Anyway, I am a decendent of James'Jim' Morrisett.
Son of William&Elizabeth Gully Morrisett.
My dad, William Frank Marrisett,died April 3,2002, in Rogersville,Tn.
If anyone has any info about Jim.please respound back.
All I know is he died in Rossville,Ga.
