I and the rest of my family has always been told my Great Grandfather was a 1st cousin of John Wayne's. Here's the trick. Our Morrison link has a dead end with a black sheep, David. He took off and left his two sons to live with his inlaws. Not sure if his wife passed away, or went with him but she's nowhere to be found. I will continue to search the links provided in earlier threads but if anyone knows of a link between Marion Morrison and my Great Great Grandfather, David Morrison (born around 1875 and married to Elizabeth Taylor) please fill me in! I'd like to get past this road block in my tree and prove or disprove this family rumor. Thank you.
