Gary A. Mosier
Gary A. Mosier age 59 of North East,PA,
died Sunday April 5, 2009 at his residence. He was born Feb. 28, 1950 in Erie to Phyllis Hertner Mosier of Harborcreek and the late Alton E. Mosier. Gary lived most of his life in Harborcreek and North East.
A graduate of Harborcreek High School in 1968 and Penn State University in 1973 with a degree in Business. Gary was a Wine Maker with Mazza Vineyards wince 1972, an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Harborcreek, where he formerly served as an Elder and Treasurer of the church. Also serving on the Board of Directors of the Erie Civic Music Assn., Board of Directors of Wesleyville Athletic Club, and Past President of Western Pa. Sertoma Club, and was active with the SeaWolves Boosters.
Besides his father,
he is preceded in death by his grandparents.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Christine A. Burgess Mosier; married April 3, 1976,
brother Jack E. Mosier of Harborcreek,
nieces and nephews Melissa Whitney, Stephanie Burgess, Erin Perry and her husband Jon; Kaitlyn Mang, Jared Mosier and his wife Aye; Bill Burgess and his wife Stephanie; great- nephew Liam Perry,
and an aunt and several cousins.
Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake St., North East on Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Harborcreek 6724 Buffalo Rd. Harborcreek. Officiating Rev. Stephen N. Cahoon. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Harborcreek, P.O.
