John C. Smith married Elizabeth Moss Jan 25, 1829 in Putnam County, Indiana. Does this connect to my ancestors? My John C. Smith was born in VA in the early 1800's, and moved to Greencastle, IN. His wife was "Eula, Eaury". She was born Feb. 23, 1809 in VA. Their son, William Jeptha C., was born in Greencastle Apr. 24, 1843 and daughter, Maria Josephine, Apr. 16, 1846. There may have been other children. The family then moved to Osceola, Clark County, Iowa and are listed on the 1853 Census as John C. Smith and E.M.Smith. Any information on these people and their ancestors?
