My mother was a Moultrie. Her father's name was Joseph L. Moultrie. They were from Union Springs, Alabama. His father was named George Moultrie (maybe from Georgia) and he married woman named Fannie Marlowe. George's mother's name was Rhode Cole (not sure of the spelling). George had a sister named Edna. I'm not sure if George was white or black, I've heard both and he had blue eyes.
