I am looking for information about my wife's grandfather, Hal Mounce. He was born 30 January 1890 in Iowa, possibly in or near Cedar Rapids (Linn County) or Sioux City (Woodbury County). He served in World War I, and then moved to Oklahoma and then Texas.

I do not know the names of either of his parents, but he had a brother named Guy Mounce and a sister named Nan Mounce.

Searching the census, I have located some Mounce families in Linn County, Iowa, but none with the names I am looking for.

I would appreciate any information you can give.
