Was John W. Harral’s late wife the former Susannah Northern? That would make Nancy Northern Rachel (Harral) Moxley’s grandmother and Elizabeth Simms her aunt.

One LDS FamilySearch IGI Individual Record reports John W. Herald marrying Susen J. Northern (b. 1846) in Independence, Arkansas, on 16 December 1868.
