The family name is Moy. I do know that two teenage brothers, Patrick and Michael arrived in US in the late 1860's or early 1870's and became seperated in New York City. Patrick was my great-great grandfather, he worked in coal mines in Pennsylvania and later moved to Illinois. My great-grandmother's name was Mary Elizabeth Moy. My grandmother's and mother's recollections were that the family lived on the river Moy, in the area of Foxford and there was a mother and possibly a sister left behind, I don't know anything about the grandfather three times removed other than it's likely that he was a farmer. I will be visiting Ireland in early July and would so like to connect to my Irish roots and find out if there are any living relatives still in Ireland. If you are familiar with the family name, please drop me an email. Thanks so much!
