I am researching a Rose/Rosalia Mrkvicka, born about 1884 in Austria/Bohemia/Czechoslovakia, depending on the census.

She came to the U.S. about 1893 at about age 8. I don't know who her parents were.

She wound up in Berwyn, Cook, IL, and married Frank Joseph(Franz Josef?) Porod/Parod when she was about 25.

She died in 1957 and he died in 1966. They are buried in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
