Mulcahy in Newfoundland

I am researching Elizabeth Rose Mulcahy, assumed to be born in the late 1780's or early 1790's. Not sure but mostly Nfld. Her husband was Richard McCarthy. They had 4 kids. Richard has proved to be a dead lead, so I am concentrating on his wife.

Richard is mentioned in two documents and his brother Bat or Bartholomew is mentioned in one, as a part of land was named after him. Richard McCarthy sold land, in Smallpoint Nfld, in 1804 and bought in Bay de Verde in 1806. Not sure of how old he was but is assumed to be in his early 20's. Richards brother died in a "freak" accident and a cliff like area was named after him, Bat's Gulch. Anyways, he had newly arrived from Ireland, with the Power brothers. So Richard is more than likely Irish by birth, and may have just arrived in nfld a few years prior to his brother.

Richard and Elizabeths 4 kids are: Charles, married to Mary Riggs, Margaret, married to James Riggs, Two more unknown ones, one of whom married Michael Walshe.

Any info appreciated willing to share if interested.

My mother is decendant from Daniel J. Mulcahy and Bridget T. Tierney. However she was born and raised in Chicago. Her name was Bridget Frances Mulcahy. Her sister Mary Patrick had a daughter Marian who married Michael Conway. They moved west when I was very young but I seem to recall they went to Iowa.
