These are the variations of spellings of the original Hans Mallgrav that immigrated to Frederiksted, St. Croix from Denmark. I have done a lot of research and even visited to St. Croix and found treasures. I'm especially looking for early pictures of the sons John Mulgrave, Emerik Broderson Mallgrav and Henry Knight Mallgrav, as well as parents Hans and Claudine. John headed for Colorado and Emerik stayed on St. Croix. Henry went to Savannah, then Philly and I have complete info on him.

Searching for parentage of John Mulgrave believed to be born in the 1830's in Fredericksted. He is buried in St. Croix. Any info on spouse as well. Had two children that I know of, John (who emigrated to Colorado), and Henry Knight. Spelling of Mulgrave changed to Mallgrave at some point. Have some census info from Colo. in 1860 for John, but nothing on Henry, or the spouse/parentage of John Mulgrave.
