Patrick Mulhall was possibly a lighthouse keeper in the early 1800s at Barrenjoey, Palm Beach, northern Sydney. He was the first settler at Wagstaffe Point (named after the person he sold his holding to) (AKA Kourung Gourung) near the entry to Brisbane Water NSW. Cf the Bouddi History Project (on CD ROM). Mulhall grew veggies etc. and had a basic cottage, included in a Census in the mid 1800s (cf Gosford City Council Local Studies Collection).
