Eleanor Mulhall Rauch, age 86, of Upper Arlington, Ohio died July 5, 2013 at the Kobacker House.

She was born February 26, 1927 in Waterbury, Connecticut, the daughter of Patrick and Delia (McHale) Mulhall.

She was a graduate of the Waterbury Hospital School of Nursing and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota.
She was in the Cadet Nurse Corps during World War II


She is survived by her husband, Dr. Robert F. Rauch; children, Dr. Robert F. Rauch II of Tucson, AZ, Dr. Steven M. (Suzanne) Rauch of Lamoine, ME, Nancy R. (Samuel) Duran of Cincinnati, OH and Diana J. Rauch of Upper Arlington. She leaves 11 grandchildren, Erika and Andrew Rauch, Jason (Millie) Rauch, Julia (Mehool) Acharya, Lindsay (Jared) Rauch, Dave and Joe Duran, and Katherine, Jessica, Joshua and Megan Ewy.
She also leaves four great grandchildren, Hannah and Aidan (Jason) Rauch, and Kevin and Quinn (Julia) Acharya.

She was a member of First Community Church where she served two terms on the Board of Women and was active in Guild Group Y and Couple Circle 13.

She was a member of the Scioto Country Club, The Ohio State University Women's Club (Poetry, Music and Antique Groups) and served two terms on the Parent's Council for Northwestern University.

She also served as a docent of the Columbus Museum of Art and the Ohio Historical Society.

. A memorial service will be held at First Community Church, 1320 Cambridge Blvd at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Private interment at Union Cemetery.
