I am trying to find info on my father's side of the tree - my g-g-g-grandfather is George Washington Vickers - my grandfather is Pomeroy Vickers. I had always heard rumors that we had some "Indian" blood - I was told it was Blackfoot Indian. There was always a big joke about it because when I was a little girl, I couldn't understand, that if I was part Blackfoot Indian, then why weren't my feet black?
