Israel Mullinnex born 1770 in New York

I am hoping someone can give me some information on my gggrandfather,Israel. My great grandfather, Jason B. Mullinnex was born in 1827 near Romney in Hampshire county VA(now WV) Jason's marriage certificate lists his parents as Israel and Mary. Someone recently sent me a copy of what they found in the 1850 census of Athens county, OH. It shows Israel Mullinex as head of the household. His age is 80 and it says he was born in New York. Along with Israel in the household were my ggrandfather, Jason and six other people. Would anyone have any further information on this Israel? Carolyn Mullinnex Cole

I'm still looking for info on my gggrandfather, Israel Mullinnex. According to the 1850 Athens County, OH census, he was born circa 1770 in New York. One of his daughters on that census was named Charity, so that is why I am wondering if he is the same Israel that is being mentioned on this board. Please, if anyone has any info, let me know. Thanks. Carolyn

Can you help the state of MO?

I am looking for information on two members of the Mullinix family, Bryce
and Margie Mullinix. They were the children of Sterling and Lula Mullinix,
and the two supposedly died as children. A distant family relative,
Garnelle Langley, claims that these two infant children were buried in the
Jacksonville Cemetery. My research has only discovered five people who
were buried in the Jacksonville Cemetery, and none were related to the
Mullinix family. I am hoping to find some information on this branch of
the Mullinix family so I can find evidence as to where they are buried, and
I was told that you have done significant research into the Mullinix family
in Missouri. I work for the Missouri Department of Transportation, and I
need to make sure that we do not build a new facility over any known
burials when we expand Highway 63 to four lanes in northern Randolph
County. The expanded road will go over the former Jacksonville Cemetery,
and I am trying to figure out if the claim that the two Mullinix children
are buried in the area is valid or not. Thanks in advance for any
information that you can provide.

Thomas Gubbels
Historian, Missouri Department of Transportation

Phone: 573-522-5554
Email: gubbet1@mail.modot.state.mo.us

Israel Hagen Mullinix who was in Fentress Co TN 1830
Reply-to:Nellie Miller BMNJ33A@prodigy.com
Date: Friday, March 27, 1998 7:58 AM
I am delighted that you have added this tool to our research. I am searching for the parents of Israel
Hagen Mullinix who was in Fentress Co TN in 1830 and later in Daviess Co. MO. One thing that I
have learned that should be passed on is that Robert Moliner who married Rebecca Boston in MD is
not the father of the line in MD/DE.That seems to have come from Marilyn Mx Blancks book and she
wrote me that her first chapter was not true and should be ignored. She said start with Chapter 2 with
John Mx. I will look forward to hearing from anyone who can document Israel's parents.
Edward C Mulnix

Hi Lyndy, tried finding and sending email put couldn't so came to the
net again. I had sent you an email earlier on my grandfather Edward C
Mulnix, and wanted to send you the rest of the family names. Edward had
6 sisters, as follows Caroline Mulnicks/Mulnix b 1838, Mary
Mulnicks/Mulnix b 1841, Maria Mulnicks/Mulnix b 1842, Edward Charles
Mulnicks/Mulnix b 1846, Victoria Mulnicks/Mulnix b 1848, Martha
Mulnicks/Mulnix b 1850, & Susan Mulnicks/Mulnix b 1854. They show all
born in Ill, so would assume around Wayne, Dupage Cty. Mary the mother
was 38 in 1850, and Patrick was 50. He was born 1800 and she 1812 in
Mass, tho have been told he came from Ireland, and possibly took Mary's
last name which would have been Mulnicks/Mulnix. So don't know if this
will give you any more information or not.
Thanks for your help and leads. Craig 27 Apr 1998
