Hi,
I am trying to find descendants of the family of John Mumford b1845, Blackawton, Devon, England and his wife Mary Hannah Tuck Kerslake b1855, Teignmouth (registered - Newton Abbot), Devon, England. They were married in 1878 and lived at 13 Church Street, Torquay, Devon, England most of their married life.
Their children were:
John (Jack) Robert - b1879
Minnie (married Alfred Rice) - b1880
Ada - b1882
Arthur - b1888
Bessie (Bet) - b1889
Winifred (Winnie) - b1890
Joseph - b1893
Charles - b1897
Donald - b1898
All of the children were born in Torquay, Devon, England.
I do not know who the daughters married, except Minnie, and I have been told some of the boys died in the war but I haven't confirmed this.
I am related to the brother of Mary Hannah Kerslake. All of her 5 brothers went to Australia to live and her parents, her sister Bessie and Mary Hannah stayed in Teignmouth.
Hopefully one of her descendants is interested in family history and reads this post...
