My Grandmother was "Mrytie Mae Moncrief" married William Marvin Jenkins, Polk Co, Ga.
Mrytie Mae Moncrief was daughter of Artemus(Artimus) L. Moncrief. (Mother, I do not know yet). Her brothers were: Issac Moncrief, James Moncrief,Columbus Moncrief. All from Polk Co,Ga I believe.
Artemus L. Moncrief was son of Thomas Jefferson Moncrief and his wife Mary Ann Robertson. who were married 20 Aug 1833 in Greene Co,Ga. Census says Artemus was enumerated as "Tema Moncrief"? in Polk Co,Ga.
Thomas Jefferson Moncrief was born 1811-1813 in Greene Co,Ga son of William Alexander Moncrief and his first wife Sarah Elizabeth Nicholson. He died between 1880-1890 in Greene Co,Ga.
If anyone can Please add to this or at least help me to confirm any of it. I would appreciate all the help.
