I grew up pronouncing my last name Mundell as:

MUN - DELL (emphasis on both syllables equally, MUN is similar to the word Done and DELL is like 'farmer in the dell' the old nursery song.

However, I have heard the name "Mundell" pronounced in the Guysborough Co. Nova Scotia part of the world quite differently, almost like the word "bundle"... they pronounce it there as "Mundle" , almost like saying bundle!!! Very very different pronounciation from my roots (southern part of Nova Scotia and Mass USA).

How do you pronounce it wherever you live all around the world?????

My last name is spelled Mundell and not MUNDLE yet I understand some folks with my last name (Mundell) do pronounce Mundell like it is spelled MUNDLE.
