Hello,
My name is Marc Gaiduk and I live in Montreal, Canada.
I'm curious of my origins but I never really had a chance to ask my father Jean Gaiduk. All I know is that we're supposed to come from Poland. My great grand-parents would have come to Canada in the early 1900's. Could it be that we would be related in some way?
Hoping to hear from you!
Marc Gaiduk

Gaiduk

Hi. I have searched sites all over to find the name Gaiduk and your site is the first I have found. My father-in-law was Nikolajs Gaiduk/s and migrated to Australia from Latvia in 1948. I believe most of his family was killed in the war, and they lived in or near a town called Tukums. I also believe there is a conection to Lithuania somewhere. His father was Simons Gaiduk/s and his mother Lucia Dubrowskis. Unfortunately, Dad would not talk much about his life prior to coming to Australia as he prefered to put it all behind him. I would not be surprised if there is a connection somewhere along the line. Good luck in your search, and I will keep looking.
Kind Regards
George

Have added a Muscedere board.
It has some ancestry for the family from Fontechiari, Frosinone, Italy
Unfortunately, unless he came through Ellis Island, the info is too old.

!! BUT check out announcements! !!
