George “Bill” Muse
George “Bill” Muse, age 80, of Pinegrove Way, Erie,
died Friday March 13, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Erie on March 28, 1928, a son of the late Roy and Anna Gorton Muse. Bill graduated from Erie Technical High School. He was a member of the Army and Navy Reserves, and was a draftsman for Reed Manufacturing. He was a member of Luther Memorial Church, enjoyed photography, fishing and always caring for other people. Bill also enjoyed watching his nephews play in sporting events.
In addition to his parents,
he was preceded in death by his long time fiancée, Audrey Volk.
Survivors include his sister Louella Johannes,
two nephews: Dr. Jim Johannes and his wife Laura of Erie and John Johannes and his wife Janie, of Knoxville, TN.
Four great nieces and nephews also survive.
