Dear Danielle,
A person called Minnie Herchenroeder gave her signature as a guest at my GF's funeral circa 1973.
I remember Minnie often baking these little round flat butter cookies on Sundays at my GF's.
Also , I remember her baking pies and always having an extra mini-tin so that my baby sister could bake her very own pie.
She had a daughter named Lillian who I believe was wed to an in-law of my father.
Missouri State Archives Online lists a death certificate for an Antony C. Herchenroeder who died in 1945 the address was 5014 Arlington Ave. The certificate shows wife named Minnie & that Anthony was born in Waterloo,IL.
My father grew up on Arlington Ave. In some old papers I find a person called Rose M. Mueth.
Do you think a funny coincidence?
