I have just learned that my ancestor Hans Peter MUUHS changed the spelling of the last name to MUHS when he came to the US in 1892 to live in Hall county, Nebraska. Hans Peter(born 1864 in Hohndorf, Probstei, Germany) was married to Doris Louise Wiese(daughter of Friedrich Wiese and Dorothea Rohr). Hans P's father was Hans Hinrich MUUHS born Hohndorf, Probstei, Germany abt 1834 married to Trien Schneekloth born abt 1832. Hans Hinrich's father was Hans Christian MUUHS married to Gretje Goltsch. Would like fill in missing dates and places of birth, marriage dates, and siblings. Also, Hans P supposedly was visited by a brother, Henry, but unknown if Henry stayed in the US or went back to Germany.
