Mrs Drusilla Beall, For 55 years a resident of Iowa City, passed away this morning at **** o'clock at her home, 109 East Burlington street. She had been ill since Tuesday only, but her advanced age, 77, made unavailing a battle against the onslaughts of death. She leaves five brothers, Zephanian, William, Moses, Smith and Chambers Pursell, and three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Mygatt, Mrs. Julia A Burnett and Mrs. Celia Pascal. Mrs. Plato, wife of Col. Plato of South Clinton street, is a niece of the estimable decedent. The funeral and burial will both be private, but no time has been fixed, owing to the absence of kinsfolk.
