He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He later retired from the Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he worked as a machinist. He was employed part time at the Los Alamos Monitor and at Metzger's Store. He loved animals and was forever adopting strays. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. and Cleotilde De Grief Mynaugh; brother, Raymond Mynaugh; and sister, Katherine Mynaugh. He is survived by his wife, Adela R. Mynaugh; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mary R. Marquez, Ben Romo and wife Pat, Alice Romo and Dale Bartz; and many other relatives. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
