My father-in-law was Edmund Myott, Edith's brother. The other siblings were Eva (Halbmaier), Francis and Florence (Askew). My mother-in-law, Odila Busche Myott, still lives in Wadena. My husband's sisters, Marilyn and Betty, have done a fair amount of research on the Myott family.
Ed's & Edith's parents were Lewis Myott (1852-1931) and Ella McCauley. Lewis's parents were Alanson Myott (born about 1822 in lower Canada) and Orelia Morse (born in Canada in 1829 or 1830). Alanson Myott served in the Civil War.
