HI! I got interested because of the last name. Our Mom's last name was Nantes but to tell you the truth I have no idea where our Nantes originated. Magellan had been in our country and actually died there during war between the original inhabitants of my country and his men and most of his crew were either from Portugal or Spain. We were ruled by the Spaniards for more than 300 yrs.
