She was born in Mississippi around 1893 and died around 1965. She was married to Luther Jesse Sproles also from Mississippi. They resided in Concordia Parish, Louisiana in 1920. Luther and Etta Sproles had numerous children to include Jesse Sproles, May B. Sproles, Woodrow Sproles, Georgie Sproles and Luther Charles Sproles I believe her parents were Henry Charles Nations born 1869 and died in 1909 and Josephine L (Cagle) Nations born in 1864 and died in 1941. I have no documentation to support this belif so any help resolving this will be a great help.
Luther Jesse Sproles was my grandfather. He died years before I was born. My grandmother Etta Sproles died when I was very young and my mother (May B. later changed to Mabel)died in 1990 and never discussed her family. So any information at all will be greatly appreciated.
